EN81-70 Standard
We accumulate a great experience to provide certified products meeting EN81-70 requirements. EN81-70 is the European harmonized code for improving the use of lifts for people with disabilities.
Type 1 (450 kg)Â lifts
- Accommodates one wheelchair user.
- Minimum car size: 1000 x 1300 mm.
- Minimum entrance width: 800 mm.

- Accommodate one wheelchair user and an additional user.
- Minimum car size: 1100 x 1400 mm.
- Recommended entrance width: 900 mm.
Type 3 (1000 kg) lifts
- Accommodate one wheelchair user and several other users.
- Minimum car size: 1100 x 2100 mm.
- Recommended entrance width: 900 mm.
Type 4 (1000 kg) lifts
- Accommodate one wheelchair user and several other users. They also allow a wheelchair to be turned around in the car.
- Minimum car size: 1400 x 1600 mm or 1600 x 1400mm.
- Recommended entrance width: 900 mm.
Type 5 (1275 kg) lifts
- Accommodate one wheelchair user and several other users. They also allow a wheelchair to be turned around in the car.
- Minimum car size: 1400 x 2000 mm or 2000 x 1400mm.
- Recommended entrance width: 1100 mm.
