The Hop Exchange

Bespoke lift for a listed building

Located in the heart of Southwark, London, the Hop Exchange is one of the most representative examples of 19th-century Victorian commercial architecture. Built in 1867, this iconic historic building—originally conceived as a hub for the hop trade serving the brewing industry—stands out for its spectacular covered central atrium and cast-iron galleries.

Now converted into office space, the building retains its original architectural character, which entails strict conservation requirements and a strong commitment to preserving its historic setting.
