Custom elevators for a five-star hotel in the heart of the City of London
In the heart of the prestigious City of London we designed and manufactured two bespoke lifts for an iconic five-star hotel. This exclusive project showcases our expertise in delivering vertical transportation solutions that combine technical performance, safety, and seamless architectural integration.
The installation includes two duplex-operated lifts, designed to ensure smooth, reliable, and optimized vertical transport, while respecting the aesthetic identity of a building with significant heritage value, as well as two additional units for the service area.

Technical Features:
Main Elevators
2 traction MRL lifts, 630 kg operating in duplex mode:
- Both models are equipped with counterweight safety-gear.
- Car reader system to restrict access to floors.
- Ecosaver regenerative drive that recovers the energy generated by the elevator.
- Emergency automatic rescue device.
Robust Mechanics
One of the units is our Silens Pro Top model, renowned for its robustness and reliability the other is our Silens Pro Compact model with a “backpack” type frame, enabling maximum shaft space optimization and compliance with the European EN81-72 standard for firefighter lifts.
Service lifts
For the service area, 2 units were installed with robust finishes and cabin protections:
- A 1125kg load Vanguard III, traction MRL at 1 m/s, serving 10 stops with double entrance at 180º.
- A 1000kg load Rhinolift PRO, goods lift with attendant, with nominal speed 0.15 m/s, serving 3 stops with double entrance at 180º.
